In this chapter, we learn that the girl in question is the same girl we met in the beginning of the story. The girl tells us that she has dressed up as the prince's maid in order to bewilder him, and that the prince has been waiting for her ever since. She says that she will never be a real girl, even if she puts on a dress like the one the prince is wearing. She tells the prince that she's prepared his favorite wine, and the prince didn't even listen to her. She wants to please the prince first and then find a way to help him get back on his feet. The prince says that he's happy to be with her, and she agrees. She also tells him that she wants to get rid of his fantasy, not to indulge in it. She asks the prince what kinds of women are attractive to men, and he says that women don't really matter, but appearance does. He tells her to find someone who knows the spell, and then send someone to ask the prince if he has any pictures of her mother.
