About This Chapter
The narrator tells us that he's still in his dream about Prince Xuan. He's been waiting for the monster that robbed the minister of honor. The narrator says that it's taken him nine years to get over the former princess, and that they're still not together. He hopes that the relationship between the prince and the princess will go well. He says that he won't be lonely as long as she's with him. She says that she'll never be lonely because she lost all of her memories about the prince. She asks the narrator to wake her friend and tell him what's going on. He doesn't know what to say, but the narrator says he should bless the prince for his love. He asks her to let him have a drink. She's late, and she says she'd rather have the wine than the man who told her to beat the prince down. She tells him to hold on, but he refuses to do it again. She wants to know where the prince's soul is. She thinks that the prince is dead, and the narrator is confused. He can't figure out how the prince managed to find something in his lower back.
