About This Chapter
This chapter's epigraph comes from a conversation between the Governess and Cressida. The Governess tells Cressida that she can break the spell that the prince has been using on her. Cressida responds by saying that the spell is an exclusive one from the cult and that no one else could break it. She also says that they have figured out a way to use the same spell on Cressida and that they can do so at will. The two women then accuse the prince of deceiving the Emperor Minister. The prince admits that the family pretended to come from the fallen star palace and caused chaos in the place. The men then took credit for causing the chaos. The little girl then says that she will report the prince's thanks to Cressida for his help.
