About This Chapter
The narrator arrives at the prince's house to tell him that he has heard that the prince is ill. He asks the prince how he is doing, and the prince tells him that they have been attacked by a thief. The narrator asks if the thief is the same one who attacked him three years ago. The prince tells the narrator that the thief used a trick to take others, and that he must have been the one who stole his military information. He then asks the narrator if he wants to avenge the stupid woman who stumbled into a military facility by dressing up like her, or do he want to avenge her by dressing like she? The narrator tells the prince that the woman deserved to die for her stupidity, but that he should pay for his stupidity by beating the thief. When the prince asks what happened, the narrator says that he almost lost control of himself. He says that the man was a simple youth who had been anxious for three years. He now feels that he was indeed tricked, and he is sure that he is the man who stopped the thief from falling into the trap.
