About This Chapter
The narrator tells us that he's not going anywhere. He's sick and tired of people talking about him when he should be talking about how sick he is. He tells us he can't go anywhere because he has nowhere to go, and he can only stay at the hospital. The narrator asks if he can help him, and the narrator tells him to be careful. He asks if the man has fainted, and then he asks if it's hot, and if the skin is different from that of a human being. He then asks if there'll be any way to cool the man down, because that's what the death in white told him. He also asks if zouye is trying to kill himself, and when he says that, the narrator is shocked. He goes on to say that when he went to the hospital, the doctor told him that the man had been badly injured because of the narrator. When the narrator asks why he took off his clothes to wipe the man's body, the man says that he didn't want to do it, and so he did it. Then he asks why his heart is beating so fast,
