The Governess tells the boy that he is superior to her because he is five hundred years older than her. He tells her that she is a "barbarian human" and that she cannot talk to him out of his "superiority." The boy tells the Governess not to touch him without his permission and that his body is different from hers. He asks if he needs to go to an infirmary. The doctor tells him that the previous injury to his head has not completely healed and that he will be injured again in the coming days. The boy says that he does not like this and that if only he could forget about his sins, he would not be so angry. He wants to know why he did not act on his own and get him injured. He says that the man came to grab him and that even if it is to keep the man away from him, he hopes the man will be safe. He then asks if the man is done talking and if he has forgotten what he said. The man replies that he should consider what has to do with him, and he says that if he says he did it, he should think about what will happen if he fails to control himself.
