The next morning, the Governess wakes up to find that she's feeling awful. She's worried that her husband is running a fever and needs to go to the bathroom. She tells him to take a shower, but he insists that he's fine. The Governess goes to get a towel to wipe the sweat off his face. She realizes that she can't do it with him standing so high, so she'll have to do it herself. The two of them clean up the mess that's been left behind by the fire. They're done with that, and she decides to go back to her apartment and take care of some business. She asks him if he'd like to move back to the apartment with her. He says no, but then he realizes that he has to leave the next day. He tells her to kiss him goodnight, and he'll come back tomorrow with the rest of the gang.
