About This Chapter
The general tells Duyi that they've set fire to the entire town, but that a subordinate has seen a bunch of fog that's blocking their view of underground springs. Duyi's population is about to be slaughtered, and Duyi needs more troops. The general says that Duyi must be surrounded by a giant horned dragon, which is coming from the palace. Duyyi must flee the city and hide in a dense forest outside of the city gates. He's convinced that the horned dragon is the one who's coming, and he's even more convinced that it's the one that killed Duyi. He also says that the dragon is out of his range, so he'd be cautious approaching one. DuYee tells the general to take a look, but he doesn't want to take any chances. He says that if the dragon attacks, they'll have to fight back, and that'll be the end of the story. He asks Duyee's sister if she's in the middle of the chaos, and she says that she is. She's been alone in the midst of it all, and the kingdom of Ba has no princess left. She asks Duuyee to promise to make his princess a princess, so that she won't have to go through with the war. He tells her to put her faith in the dragons, and to pay a big price for what they did to Duyree. Duuyees sister tells him that the fog's starting to clear up, but they haven't yet been attacked by a horned dragon. He wonders if they're just playing a trick on him. He can't believe that they would do this to him.
