In this short scene, Ren tells Ren that he misses her terribly, and that she is recovering well from her aunt's surgery. Ren asks Ren if he can meet her parents, but Ren says that his mother will be discharged from the hospital the next day, so there is no need for Ren to come. Ren then asks Ren whether he can accept long distance relationship, and Ren replies that it is nothing, his mother is calling him, and he needs to go. Ren says he might not come back once he leaves, but that he will visit Ren every year on his birthday. Ren apologizes for not giving Ren notice that he was going to visit her, but he says that he did not want to disturb her, so he didn't go directly up and bother her parents. He says he just came to find her because he was scared. Ren explains that he had planned to stay in the city since Ren's parents only had one child, and they were getting older by the day. He wants to stay by their side, but doesn't know how to do so. Ren thinks that Ren is crazy, because he knows that Ren will suffer if he stays in the big city. Ren tells him that he is not stupid, he is a genius
