In this chapter, we learn that Dr. Bledsoe's son is the descendant of the "divine general" , and he's ready to fight anyone who tries to stop him. He's also ready to show off his abilities to the people of the night-souls, who have been testing him in the past. The blacksmith union is in the night soul's territory, and they're worried that the king is in danger, so they want to go there and find out what the king's doing there. They don't want to upset the king, but they do want to find out if the queen has found anything.
