Mr. Shaw congratulates his brother on his passage through the dreamlands. He tells him that there is something "wrong" with the Book of Truth, and that they need to go back to the real world. Jane is shocked at the news, because she was already dead. She asks why he would want to bring her back to life, and why he didn't kill him when he was still alive. She says that she has been waiting for him all these years, and now she's going to stay with him forever.
