About This Chapter
In this short scene, Bardolph's servant, Jane, tells Bardolph that she has just woken up from a nightmare in which she was trapped in a "body" . She has spent the last ten years being "that person" , but now that she is awake, she realizes that the tone of his voice is not right. She tells him to "get his trust" and become his "go kill that brother." She also tells him that they can arrive at the palace that night, but that it will take them a long time to get there. She asks Bardolph if he will make her "warm forever," and he replies that he will. He tells her that he wants to meet her alone at night, as he wishes, and she agrees to do so.
