About This Chapter
The Governess tells the Governess that she broke up with her boyfriend last week, and that he's nowhere to be found. She tells her that she's always liked her, but that she doesn't want to accept him because of his "weakness" . She says that she likes boys who are "better" than her, so she can bully them into accepting her. She also says that when she rejected another man, she said that she liked those who were "better than herself" , but this time, she says, she'll accept anyone who's better than herself. She asks her Governess if she picks her reasons for rejecting others, and she says that the last time she rejected someone, she was saying she liked "those who were better than themselves." She then says that if she were sick, she would have died if she didn't see her in the hospital that day. She then tells her to stop looking for her boyfriend, and tells her not to tell her family about her illness. She'll tell them that she is seriously ill.
