About This Chapter
Dong-Xing asks about his parents. He's worried that journalists will try to find him, so he doesn't want to go outside. He tells him to stay away from the internet and not to go out too much. He also tells him not to tell anyone about his trip to his sister's hometown, because journalists will probably try to track him down. He then tells him that his high school classmate, who lives next door to her, is also going to her hometown for a winter vacation. The two of them have grown up together in the same school, so they share a flight back to the mainland. He says that he brought gifts for him and his sister when he flew to Spain last time, and he's going to give them back to them when he gets back to China. He wants to go home, but he can't because his sister is chasing after him. He asks why his dad is taking him to her parents' house, and she says that she'll take him to pick them up later, and then they can have dinner together. She also says that her friends are evil men, and her dad says that's not the case. She says that no matter who they are, they don't have anything to do with her.
