About This Chapter
In this final chapter of the novel, Joonhee explains that the rumor that he is missing is a "groundless rumor" and that he will not be harmed in any way. He tells his assistant that he has been feeling lighter and less tired lately, and he wonders who the hell is he looking for. He also tells the assistant that the black cloak he is wearing is the first time he has seen such a "rare sight." He also says that he does not believe that all of the strongest fighters from the murim sect are gathered here, but he does believe that the members of the federation are calm. He says that the woman he remembers when he lost consciousness in hwashan is there, but that he cant remember her anymore. He wonders why he is here when he has not even participated in the contest. He wants to visit her, he says, but she has told him to pretend to not know her. He smells something familiar, and when the winner of the contest is announced, he will "enlighten the undead blood."
