About This Chapter
In this chapter, Joonhee is introduced to his master, who is also known as "Hwang Akgun" or "Commander of the Five Devils." He was once a member of a sect of orthodox martial artists, but he discovered a secret technique of moism and fell into "energy delirium," a state of delirium characterized by excessive consumption of energy. He is surprised to learn that his master is alive, but warns him to be careful in his dealings with his master. He asks what the reason is for his master's sudden death, and he is told that it is because his master was his sworn brother. He tells her to bring more alcohol to sway sway her, but she is already drunk, and she should not drink more. He says that he will tell her again, but that he is not allowed to reveal his name. He warns her to keep the promise she made earlier, and that she should look at her hwarin, not even glance at her. She is brave, he says, but it is too late.
