The Governess tells the Governess that her lover has been dispirited. She tells him that she has lost her red bean, and that she asked someone to give her some, but that she cannot find it. She then tells him to go to the Binging pavilion and find the red bean. She says that if he does not love her, she will have to leave the mansion. The Lord tells her that he heard the concepcion see her today, but he left dispirited, and she says that she forgave him because he was "very enchanting." She then says that he is a "cheap slave" in her heart, and as a result, all of her actions are her own wishful thinking
