About This Chapter
Sook Kim tells his highness that he wants to talk to him about state affairs after his father's death. He wants to make sure that the royal family and the people are kept in the loop. He also wants to discuss the request that was sent from Andong. It's his first day as king's regent, so he's been handling state affairs on his own behalf. Kim says that they haven't finished yet, but that they're getting ready to do so soon. Kim asks if the prince has eaten lunch yet, and the highness says that he hasn't. Kim tells him that the princess asked him to deliver the message when she heard that he was missing lunch. She wanted him to sooth his throats with swonggwa, and dasik, so everyone should eat. Kim thanks the princess for her kindness, and then asks if there's anything that's too hard or tedious to hand over to him. The princess says that she's on their side, and she'll be married to the prince soon. The prince asks if he still has a lot to do, and Kim says he needs to be careful not to over-exert himself. He's just looking to double check the situation. Kim is glad that the prince isn't self
