The Governess is all, "what should i do? . . what should i have to do?" . She wants to know what the Governess's secret is, but she can't figure out what to do. She tells him to take off the maid's clothes and show him what she's wearing. He says, "this is your room, eh?" , and tells her that he thought her boss would split them up so they wouldn't have to live in the same room. He tells her to understand why her boss allows her to live there, since he's going to spend the night with a beautiful maid. He also tells her not to be rude to her, since she is just a newcomer to the world. She's shocked that he would be so rude. He's just a brat, she says, and she can have a nice night's sleep
