About This Chapter
Act 90 opens with a conversation between the Prefect and the treasurer. The Prefect tells the treasurer that the election to head the school has been called off, and that Renzi has been punished for her role in the fight between the students and teachers. She has been sent to her room for a week, and the Prefect tells her that he is glad that she is at the school. He tells her to stay and lead the school, but she tells him that she will not forgive him for what he has done. She tells the Prefect that he should not be a pre-fect after everything that has happened, because he is up to his ears in work, and he needs an achiever. She reminds him that he was just on his way to say farewell to her, and she says that both of the dormitories will not change. She asks the Prefect how he is going to make up for the mistakes he has made.
