About This Chapter
In this short scene, we learn that we're not the only ones in the school who are worried about the upcoming exam. We're also told that the school librarian is going to be there to help. He'll be there from now on until the exam day, and he's got plenty of time to do so. The school librarian tells us that she's going to help him prepare for the exam because she thinks he'll do well in it. She also tells him that he should be confident in his ability to pass the exam, because people who fail in the exam don't have confidence in themselves. She tells him to stop worrying about the exam and start worrying about his own future. She says that she hasn't seen him in a while, so she'll take him to the doctor for a cold.
