About This Chapter
The night before Persia's 21st birthday, the party is finally over, but it's not over yet. The festivities will include a marching band display, a bust of Persia, and a party thrown by the Persia guard regiment. The narrator tells everyone that he's been "terrified with worry" about what's going on with Inuzuka. He's also worried about what will happen to Guisine if he doesn't show up for the birthday party. He tells everyone to chill out a bit, because the party's just about to begin. He wants to know if there's any point in having a party if the girl hasn't shown up. He also wants to make sure that Guisin isn't worried about the cookies he was supposed to give inuzuka the night before. He can't wait to see what happens to the cookies, since they're the only thing that's keeping him and Persia together.
