About This Chapter
In this chapter, we learn that Kenji's name is not Kenji, and that he is a new customer at the bar. When Kenji asks why, Kenji replies that she is a customer first, and so he has to bear her sorrows with pleasure. Kenji thanks him for his visit, and he gives him some money, saying that he will take his leave now. He tells Kenji that he was accommodated by his own son, and Kenji says that it feels like he was "accompanied" by his "own son". Kenji tells him that he has some money to give him, but Kenji is shocked to learn that this is not what he had planned. He accuses Kenji of acting high already, and when Kenji tries to defend himself by saying that it is just like in "elementary school," Kenji accuses him of signing his death warrant, and cuts his career short.
