In this chapter, we are introduced to Ganymede's father, who has been living in Hong Kong for a long time. He has recently moved to the city with his family and is now working for his son's new company. He tells us that his daughter zitong is mixing with the band members in the city, and he has to go and catch her. He is very proud of his son, who is very rebellious. He says that he has been working on a project that he worked on in the past, and that the project has fallen into the hands of the snobs. The board of directors wants to train the new recruits to fight against him, and so they asked Ganousing to recover the azure tears that were stolen from the company's sample. The project was so important to him that he had to transfer it to the company, which allowed them to steal the sample and exploit the advantage they had gained. The new recruits were to be trained to be a "force to contend against" him, so the board asked him to retrieve the tears from the thief
