The wind is so strong on the roof that it's hard to tell what's going on. Lin tells us that he's here because he remembers that he and Luyan used to be friends. He's also surprised that Lin doesn't tell him everything about what happened to his mother. Lin blames himself for the whole thing. He says that if he had not given her the advice, she wouldn't be in such a bad situation. He also blames the manager for forcing him to do what he did. Lin is so sorry that he can't believe that his mother's eyes are still so bright after all of this. Lin says that he was the one who asked for her advice, and that's why she's so happy. Lin's cell phone rings, and he realizes that something's wrong. He tells us what happened. His mother had an accident, and she fell ill.
