The next morning, the protagonist wakes up to find that he has missed the morning session of the casting call. He tells himself that he will try to make it to the afternoon session, but he knows that there will be so many people that he won't be able to find a place in the back of the room. He decides to go to the back row and wait for the other applicants to arrive.
