This chapter opens with a description of the protagonist's appearance. He is dressed in a bird's-eye view bird costume. He tells us that he has come from the island of Estrella negra, where he has been living for the last ten years. He has come to perform a magic show for the people of the island. He says that he will not perform any tricks today, as he is sick and needs to see Mr. Pizant, who has paid him a fortune to come and see him. The protagonist says that the magic show is coming to an end and that he wants to get out of the room. He wishes that he could go back to the island and be with his family, but he knows that it would be too dangerous for him to do so. He also wishes that his wife could bring the World Cup back to Italy in 2023. He asks if she could bring it back again in 2023, and she says that she would like to be a nurse for the national team. He wants to know if she would make a great coach for the team. She says that her levels of Methadone have gone up since this morning, and he asks if he can move her to a better place. She tells him that he can only move her back to where she was before, and that she will be back soon with a special serum that will help her.
