About This Chapter
This chapter opens with a knock at the door. It's morning, and we're told that it's the morning of the second day of Ganymede's second spell. He's woken up by the smell of his candle, which he's been using for the last few nights. He asks if he can sleep, and is told that the candle smells so good that he could be sleeping for the rest of his life if something were to happen to him. He says he'll throw away all his candles, and that's enough to wake him up. He then asks if she's had a good breakfast, and she says yes. He tells her that as a witch, she can do magic, but that she can't do it as easily as a normal person can. She then tells him that he should learn how to make a potion, which is a skill that everyone has inherited from their parents. He also tells her to cook, because she'll be learning how to cook for herself. She tells him to wait a sec, because there's something to be done.
