The group decides to go into the hole, but they're not sure if they'll be able to get there. They're worried about the smell, and about the fact that it's from the heaven-burning war, which is why they didn't go in the first place. Still, they go in anyway, and they smell human footsteps an hour later. It turns out that they've already found the footprints of someone who was in the hole when they first arrived. They don't want to go back in there, so they decide to go down to the cave where they left the footprints. They run into a high-level formation master, and he's super-confident in his ability to defeat them. He's also super-easy to defeat, and the rest of the group can't figure out how to get past him.
