Letty wakes up two hours later and realizes that they've defeated the city monster. She's so happy to be alive that she doesn't even want to be a bait anymore. The city monster tells her that the entrance to the city is on the map that they bought at the beginning of the game. She tells him that they almost got killed along the way, but they managed to make it to the safest part of the city. She also tells him about the connection between the person sending out the map and the monster's master. She says that she found a groove in the crystal to put it in, but there's no way to put more into the crystal, so she's left with only one more crystal. He says that according to the laws of physics, a predator can "burst out" a contaminated gem, so he's going to put the "superstitious gem" that the monster burst out into the world. He's worried about what he'll do with the remaining crystal, but he decides to explore the city as a blind man.
