The scene opens with a conversation between a young woman and her uncle. The young woman tells her uncle that she heard someone calling his name in the hallway and that she saw someone calling the name of another actress in the corridor. She tells him that she was an actress with a great assistant director and that the assistant director told her that the other actress, Yulan, was very talented and that he invited her to the movie. He tells her that Yulan is very good in acting and that his assistant works for him. She asks him if he is all against her because she is an actress without acting skills. He replies that he has been waiting for her to take revenge on him for so long. She then asks him how he could attract the attention of a "born star" when he is an actor with no acting skills and no representative. He answers that he is happy that his aunt has not yet said yes to his proposal. He then asks about Yulan's performance in the movie and how he is doing. He says that he was excited to memorize lines fast and that generally he is quite normal. He also says that after the audition, he did not think too much about it and that what he did was not professional. He asks why he was so upset at the beginning of the scene when he was ignored by the director, and she answers that it was for the encouragement of the director
