In this chapter, we learn that Roxane's father, Cai Ming-liang, has been accused of adultery and has been sentenced to three years in prison. Roxane, however, is determined to get revenge on her father. She tells Cai that she will expose his affair to the public if he does not leave her alone with him. She also threatens to take the family's business to the highest level if he fails to do so
