Two years have passed since the first time the little boy and the girl ran into each other in front of the school, and the boy has never once asked for mercy from the girl. Instead, he tells her that he'll break her legs if she tries to steal from him again. The boy tells the girl that he forgot to give the boy back the money he took from her, and she tells him that she'll take care of him since he's fast enough to run away from school like a horse. After all, he says, he just wanted to say thanks to the girl, and now he wants to thank her. The little boy tries to get the girl to leave him alone, but she won't let him, and he starts to fight with her. Finally, the girl tells the boy to stop fighting, and to let her bandage up his wound first. The girl thanks the boy for being kind, and then asks him why he thinks that beauty and ugliness are so different in the real world. He says that he tried hard to be friends with his classmates, but they didn't like him. He doesn't blame them for making fun of him, though, because he was pretty. He calls the girl "mute head," and then he sings her a song about being pretty.
