In this chapter, we learn that Alek has been playing the "facelift" game in order to get a new look. He's also trying to get rid of the scars on his body, which he's been wearing since he was a kid. Alek tells us that he used to be obsessed with the idea of becoming beautiful, but that he was "pulled out of hell" by Alek's kindness. He says that Alek is the only person in the world who would have liked Alek back then, even if he didn't love him back then. Alek is bleeding from the stab wound he received in the back of the head.
