About This Chapter
In this chapter, we learn that the father of Zhengzhou's tutor, Zhengzhou yun, is suspected of masterminding the scheme to defraud Heaven's punishment. Zhengzhou and his family have been sent back to China, and Zhengzhou asks Zhengzhou to send someone to take him and his wife back to their home and put them under 24 hour protection so that heaven's punishments won't be repeated. When Zhengzhou finds out that the letters were written by his tutor, he realizes that the addresses were not forwarded to Zhengzhou by Zhengzhou, but to his own rented house. He also realizes that Zhengzhou doesn't use the word "de" in the letters he writes to his wife, which is a sign that he's using the wrong word. He's also surprised to learn that those letters didn't come from Zhengzhou at all, because Zhengzhou is a regular worker, and the letters should've been forwarded to his home by someone like Zhengzhou. He wonders why Zhengzhou couldn't have written the letters himself, since his wife would have been able to imitate his handwriting perfectly. The two men agree that there's no need to belittle one's talent, since talent is a necessary ingredient in any good business. They also agree that the act of rescuing Zhengzhou was "daring" and "dauntless"
