In this chapter, we learn more about the family's plans for the future. First, the family explains that the baby girl they nicknamed "Soffie" is actually a reincarnation of the princess they met at the beginning of the story. They named her "Princess" so that she would be able to communicate with the other children in the future, as well as with the gods.
