The narrator wakes up to find that he has been meditating for 1000 days. He tells himself that if he meditates inside his shell for one week, he will have attained enlightenment. He wonders if he is going crazy, but the narrator tells him that he will be home by the end of the day. The narrator wonders if the flowers are growing on the ground, and he wonders if there are customers waiting for him. He asks if they are garms, and the narrator answers that they are. He then asks if the time has come for him to continue his dream.
