The scene opens with a soliloquy by Soekidin, in which he laments that he hates fish and wishes that he could be in the room with them. He promises that he will teach garm how to get what he wants if he promises to obey him. The scene then switches to a discussion of money and how to obtain it. The goddess tells garm that he can get cake with money, but that he must not wear any clothes. She tells him that he is too big for his own race, and that his original clothes are too big on him. She then tells him how to collect money and eat as many cakes as he wants.
