The young man tells his mother that he has borrowed money from his parents to pay off his rent. He tells her that the money was stolen from him by a robber. He says that he is willing to work for the mansion as long as he can get the money to pay it back. He asks his mother if she has proof of his college and boarding house accounts, but she says that she does not have them yet. The man then asks the young man if he has told his landlady about the transfer receipt from his college
