About This Chapter
The thunder skylark tells the little guy that he's going to the lightning-canyon to find the "heritages" of the heaven-king. The little guy says that he needs the thunder-skylark to "block the purple lightning" for him. He's got a gift for him: he can open his heart and his blood-infant is not dead anymore. He says that the person who entered his mind space must have been a "master beyond mortal" . No one in the "mortal realm" has such power, he says. He doesn't know what the man's purpose was, but he can't figure out what threat he could have posed to the masters in the sacred domain. He wants to improve his strength. He asks if the others are dead, and they all say they're. He sighs and says that they all died together, but that he owes his sister too much. He decides to let her rest.
