In this chapter, we learn that Lee's ghost eyeballs are real, and that he is invincible because of them. In other words, he's invincible because he doesn't have to worry about ghosts. But now that he has them, he can't be invincible anymore. He's totally lost his mind, and his heart is beating like a drumbeat. He can feel the blood in his body starting to build up around him, and it's like someone's blood is pounding on his body. It's weird, he says, because his mind is suddenly getting separated from his body, and he can feel nothing at all. He thinks that he heard Lee say that he was eating up a demon, and now he knows that it was Lee who caused all of this. He begs Lee to stop eating up the demon, because if he does, he will lose himself forever.
