This chapter opens with the news that an "Asteroid" is passing by, but the narrator doesn't believe it's an actual asteroid. He's not convinced that the school would be destroyed if an actual Asteroid were to pass by. He also thinks that the internet and cell phones are not working, and that they've trapped the entire school into a vicious circle of monsters. He decides that he's going to do something about it. He wants to kill the monsters, but he can't do it because the people below are still alive, and they need to be rescued. He tells everyone to stay still and not to open the door to let the monsters in, because there's still people below.
