The chapter opens with a flashback to the previous year, when Nemo was about to go to high school. He's worried that the sump club is going to search for the witches again, and that his sister will try to keep him away from them. He tells Nemo that he thought he was a cool guy who would get any girl, but now he realizes that he's just a guy who has a sister after his big sis. He wants to help Nemo become president of the school's supernatural studies club. Nemo tells him that the seventh witch isn't like any of the other witches they've met so far, and he wants to share that with him. He also wants to know why Nemo didn't listen to him when he first joined the club, and why he agreed to help him find the witches. Nemo admits that he was willing to share this information with him, but he wanted to make sure that he and his sister weren't in the grip of the witch's power. The chapter ends with Nemo telling his sister that he saw something else in her vision one day, and wants to tell her about it.
