In this chapter, we are introduced to a new character, the swordswoman, who is now disguised as a shrimp. She has been reduced to the level of a "dragon slayer" , and we are told that she is a "great wizard" . We are also told that the "sea is freezing" and that the sea itself is turning to ash. This is the first time that we have seen a "long sword of ice-demon zero" and we learn that this is the same magic that makes the sea turn to ashes. We also learn that "silver ice" also turns to ash and that "ice , too, becomes ash" and so on. We learn that the rain is not the fault of "juvia" but that it is the result of "the devils" -- not "devils" as we are led to believe.
