He also says that she's clearly trying to break up with him, and that they've just gotten together, and she should stop being so mean to him. They're going to celebrate her birthday together, he says, and they'll never see each other again. He wonders who gave the guts to publish this kind of news, and Ming-lun wonders if it's his grandfather who's been trying to get Ming-Lin to do something.
