The next morning, Mingshan wakes up to find that his sister has gone to school. He tells her to go back to the island and he'll take care of her. He's worried that her father will ask him about her when the school year starts next week. Mingshan tells his father that he doesn't like his sister, but that she's a member of his family and will be coming back to school soon. He wants Mingshan to come back and help him get his career back on track.
