In this chapter, we learn that the princess wishes that the phoenix die and reincarnate as a human, but that is not to be. Instead, the little phoenix is being punished for disobeying the god's orders. She has violated three of the four rules that govern the creation of gods. The only partner of the phoenix for many years has been a wrinkled apricot flower, which is not allowed to be eaten by the god. In the end, the only person who can defeat the god is the white tiger.
