In this chapter, the Governess asks her husband if he really wants to leave her in the capital and help her get a job. He says that he's grown up a lot and that he doesn't think that she'll take revenge on him. The Governess tells him that she has discussed it with him and that she knows that he is getting married soon. She says that even if he had to fight her, he'd win. He thanks her for comforting him and tells her that he has someone to help her. He's arranged for them to work at the new library. She asks him to sit down and think about her own life. She's crying and says that it's time for her to think about herself. She apologizes for saying something she shouldn't, and says she's not going to drag her down by saying it. She tells her husband that she needs to be more careful with prin because he is suspicious. She wants to win his heart, she says, and that's why she wants to stay away from him. She also wants to apologize for all the stupid things she did in the past, and apologize for what she did before. She thanks her husband for giving her a chance to be a different person.
