In this short scene, Toushu explains that he is the "eternal kami" and that he has come out of his hair in order to "come out of her hair" for the sake of the "kamisama" . He says that there is a "barrier around the mansion" so that no one can escape, and that they just need to "weaken" the kami so that they will not be able to "get out" again. He then asks toushu to remove his blade from Mashiro's hair so that he can "crush him into pieces" before she sees him again, so that she won't think of killing him again. The kamisama replies that they can't even do that to a "kami sama" because they're supposed to rejuvenate and send back the dead kami, and have their wishes fulfilled. This is how the kamitsukas have prospered, he says. Mashiro says that his mother was against their way, and the family even left the whole thing. He's sorry that he's running away, but he needs to go back to his mother, who has been imprisoned by his aunt.
