About This Chapter
Ani wakes up to find that the fire board is dying. Ani asks her master to be her master. Ani tells him that she can't go to school tomorrow because of her "midterm exam." Ani asks what the exam is, and he tells her that it's a standardized test that students take every two years. Ani says that she made a macaron today, and that's the first time she's ever made something so exciting. Ani thinks that the macaron is exciting, but then she sees that the girl on the other side of the macaron doesn't seem to hit the ball like she did on the first one. She thinks that she lost her mind because of the absence of her friend, and she tries to cheer her up by saying that she'll cheer you up on the next day's exam.
